Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival - Kilimanjaro Air terminal (JRO) - Arusha Planet Hotel
As soon as you touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our proficient driver will be ready to welcome you. Afterwards, you’ll be chauffeured to Arusha Planet Lodge, where you can relish a scrumptious supper and unwind for the night. With Njofu Expedition, we make sure that your arrival is seamless and enjoyable. During your stay at the renowned Arusha Planet Hotel, you can take advantage of their excellent accommodations and facilities. Also, supper and breakfast are included in your stay.
Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After enjoying your breakfast, we will embark on a journey to Lake Manyara National Park. The first activity of the day will be a nature walk on the edge of the lake. This experience is an excellent opportunity to learn about different plants with medicinal uses, animal tracks, insects, flowers, and see the famous flamingos that are abundant in Lake Manyara, among other wildlife. The nature walk will awaken your senses and make you feel part of the wilderness. After a few hours, we will hop into the safari vehicle and continue with a game drive. This small but beautiful park has dense forest and is home to a variety of wildlife such as monkeys, giraffes, elephants, impalas, hippos, and flamingos. If we are lucky, we may even spot the rare tree-climbing lions. In the late afternoon, we will make our way to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Day 3: Tarangire - Serengeti National Park
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will begin your journey towards Serengeti National Park. As you make your way there, you will pass through the stunning Ngorongoro highlands and have the opportunity to do some game viewing. Once you arrive at the Nabi hill gate, you will check-in and start your game drive. Serengeti National Park, known for being one of the most famous national parks in Africa, boasts some of the best wildlife sightings in the world. During your game drive, you will witness the incredible migration of wildebeest and zebras, and have the chance to see a variety of other animals including predators, elephants, giraffes, topi, elands, Thomson gazelles, and rhinos. A picnic lunch will be served at a designated area within the park. After an exciting day of game viewing, you will head back to your lodge for an overnight stay and enjoy a delicious dinner at Acacia camps.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Beginning with breakfast, the entire day will be devoted to a game drive inside the park. With an abundance of wildlife, you will be able to witness the great migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest (depending on the time of year) and over 800,000 zebras. The day will be filled with exciting sightings of gazelles, mating activities and opportunities to see big cats such as lions, hyenas, leopards, and cheetahs. A lunch break inside the park will allow you to refuel before continuing with your game drive. Later, you will return to Acacia Camps where dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay.
Day 5: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you will set off on your Tanzania Honeymoon Safari, bringing along your lunch boxes, and head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Once there, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, renowned for its abundant wildlife, which includes lions, cheetahs, elephants, hyenas, zebras, and the rare black rhino. Additionally, the crater is home to a soluble lake, where you can spot flamingos. You will take a break for lunch at the picnic area and then continue your game drive. Later in the afternoon, you will make your way to Serena Lodge Ngorongoro for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park - Zanzibar
On this day, the Tanzania Honeymoon Safari will continue to Lake Manyara National Park, where you will arrive around 9-10 am to start your game drives for the day. With a short break for lunch at the picnic site, the park, although smaller than others, provides a diverse and satisfying safari experience with an abundance of birdlife and large mammals, and the possibility of sighting tree-climbing lions. In the early evening, the trip will proceed to Arusha Airport for a flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Ocean Paradise Beach Hotel for an overnight stay with bed and breakfast included, while lunch and dinner will be excluded. Drinks such as water, soda, tea, coffee, and snacks will be provided during the journey.
Day 7 & 9 Relaxation and Ocean Paradise Beach Hotel.
During your Tanzania Honeymoon Safari with Njofu Expedition, you will get to unwind and indulge in a plethora of activities such as swimming, scuba diving, and water sports while spending three whole days at the breathtaking beaches of Zanzibar. You can also visit Stone Town for an immersive cultural experience. Your stay will be at the Zoi Hotel Zanzibar, where meals will be provided as bed and breakfast, and drinks will be excluded.
Day 10: Flight Day
As your Tanzania Honeymoon Safari comes to an end, our company representative will pick you up from Ocean Paradise Beach Hotel and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your flight back home. This marks the end of your unforgettable journey with Njofu Expedition.
