DAY 1: ARUSHA – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (L/D)
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha to Serengeti National Park. From Arusha you first check in at Ngorongoro Conservation Area gate and from there you will start to do game drives on the way as you are already inside the conservation area so different animals like zebra, giraffes, monkeys, elephants can be seen on the way when crossing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area heading to Serengeti National Park. Arrive at lunchtime where you will have lunch at the picnic site then start our first game drives. Here you will see great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle among other exotic animals. DAY 2: FULL DAY SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D)
Two games drive along Serengeti plains on this day. First game drives will be during sunrise for about 1-2 hours then drive back to your lodge for breakfast and short rest, Thereafter go for the second game with packed lunch boxes enjoying – home to elusive lions, leopards, elephants, cheetah, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, Eland, wild dog, gazelles, and crocodiles among others. This Park is famous for its incredible wildlife, stunning views and the annual migration of more than 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras. In this frenzied bout of territorial conquests and mating, witness an actual survival of the fittest as these animals plunge through crocodile-infested waters. The wildebeest will birth more than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 miles) pilgrimage begins again. Dinner and Overnight Serengeti Serena Lodge.
DAY 3: SERENGETI – NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA (B/L)
Early Breakfast, around 6:00 am leave Serengeti game en route to Ngorongoro for the crater tour. The jewel in Ngoro Ngoro’s crown is a deep, volcanic crater. It is the largest unfolded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. Inside the Crater, you will have the chance to Visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here! Also here is the only place you can see black Rhinos. Head back to Arusha late afternoon and arrive in the evening where you will be dropped off at your own arranged hotel.
