In this Safari you will explore Northern Circuit National Parks in Tanzania following the Great Migration in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. After crossing Mara and Grumeti rivers, the herds aggregate in Southern Serengeti between Serengeti and Ngorongoro in Ndutu area. Here they can find water and food. The herds aggregate in an endless herd of millions of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes. The predators follow the Migration always ready to hunt.
Day 1: Karatu village
Kilimanjaro airport – Karatu 3-4 h transfer
Your guide is waiting for you at Kilimanjaro airport. You proceed to Karatu. If you have time we can stop and visit local markets on the road and Karatu village. Otherwise, you can relax at the lodge.

Day 3: Ndutu Serengeti
After breakfast, we spend the full day on a game drive. We concentrate our attention on the Great Migration and predators, we move in Ndutu area between Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Picnic lunch is recommended so that we have more time for the game viewing.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we move into Serengeti National Park for a full day game viewing. You will enjoy the day exploring new areas in this huge park full of wildlife.
Serengeti, over 6,000 square miles of the sprawling, unspoiled landscape is quite a sight. Add to that an extraordinary population of resident and migratory animals in a constant bid for survival, and you understand why this is often called, “the world as it was in the beginning.” Search for leopard and lion. Watch in awe as zebra, wildebeest and elephant simply appear from amidst the woodlands and plains.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we spend another full day in Serengeti. We can have a picnic lunch or hot lunch at the lodge/tented camp. The park is full of wildlife all over the year and you can witness an actual kill in the flesh of an animal.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast full day game viewing. First we start our game drive in Serengeti where we can explore new areas, then later in the afternoon we drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game viewing en-route. Picnic lunch.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
After early morning breakfast (or with breakfast boxes) descend down Ngorongoro crater for game viewing with packed lunch.
The park is one of the most densely crowded wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World’, a visit to the crater is a main drawcard for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. Within the crater rim, large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist. Just outside the crater’s ridge, tall Masaai herds their cattle and goats over green pastures through the highland slopes, living alongside the wildlife as they have for centuries.
