Day 1: Arrival – Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha Palace Hotel

Destination: Arusha

Distance: 48 km

Driving time: 1 hour

Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) where you will be met and assisted with our professional driver for transfer to Arusha Palace Hotel for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 2: Arusha National Park Tour

Destination: Arusha National Park

Distance: 35km

Non-game viewing hour/s: 45minutes

In the morning after having your breakfast we will pick you from your hotel and drive to Arusha National Park. This park has an incredible variety of flora and fauna which cannot fail to impress. Your safari to Arusha National Park will include a visit to the Ngurudoto Crater. Waterbuck Buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and baboons can be seen all year round as well as many different bird species. At the Momella Gate, an armed ranger will be waiting for you to accompany you on your walking safari that will give you the chance to experience the wildlife up-close. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be missed. Lunch will be taken at a picnic place and in the afternoon, you will continue your tour in the safari vehicle through the Arusha National Park. After plenty of time allocated for you to observe the wildlife, we will take you back to Arusha Palace Hotel for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Destination: Tarangire National Park

Distance: 151km

Non-game viewing hour/s: 2hours

You will be picked up from your accommodation around 9 am and depart for Tarangire National Park for a game drive until the later afternoon. This National Park, gazetted in 1970, is 130km away from Arusha town, which covers an area of 2500sq km that’s about 1600 miles and derivers its name from the Tarangire River that flows through the center of the park. The river flows from south to north/northwest and empties its water in Lake Burunge. An exceptional collection of “Acacia tortillas” and baobab trees have become synonymous with the name Tarangire National Park Picnic lunch will be provided inside the park and the dinner will be served at Marera Valley Lodge.

Day 4: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch boxes upon arrive en-route game viewing. It is home to the greatest Wildlife spectacle on earth the great migration of wildebeest and zebras, Populations of predators and iconic wildlife such as Elephants, Giraffes, Topi, Elands, Grants and Thomson gazelles and black Rhinos. Later drive towards the dinner and overnight at Heritage Tented Camp.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Destination: Serengeti National Park

Distance: Full day game drive in Serengeti

After breakfast, departure for full day game drive within park, The Serengeti plain is highlighted by granite outcropping known as Kopjes. They were formed when the volcanoes of the Ngorongoro highlands erupted over one million years ago spewing ash over the southernmost third of the Serengeti to create a rich and fertile soil that produces short and sweet grass when it rains. Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

Destination:  Ngorongoro Crater

After early breakfast, Departure with picnic lunch boxes Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We descend into the giant crater of this extinct volcano and spend the morning tracking animals. This magnificent natural amphitheater contains the largest concentration of animals in all of Africa, including a high density of lions and thousands of flamingos inhabiting an alkaline lake. Because the grass is short, the game is easily spotted. The ever-changing mood and tenor of this great caldera will end- lessly hold our attention. Later afternoon drive to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Walking Embakaai Crater.

Destination:  Ngorongoro High Lands

Distance: Full day hiking around Ngorongoro Highlands

Non-game viewing hour/s: 3-4 hours

After breakfast drive to Embakaai Crater for walking tour. From the Embakaai Crater rim you will have a wonderful view to the Crater itself and its green paradise. The Caldera is about 6km wide and nearly half of its floor is covered by the lake. Water in the lake inside the Crater is alkaline and the depth of the lake is about 83 metres deep. Views along the trail downwards are spectacular at every point. While you are here you will enjoy the views of Embakaai Crater itself. Apart from that on the northern and eastern side you can sport our dramatic cone of the still active volcano of Oldoinyo Lengai. If the sky of that day will be clear is possible to see even beyond to the dramatic cone of the still active volcano of Oldoinyo Lengai to the Great Valley and Lake Natron. Sometimes you can even see the distant snow of Mount Kilimanjaro. Walking on this area you will be accompanied by armed ranger because there is big possibility to meet wild animals. In the evening drive to Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 8:      Cultural Tour Lake Eyasi.

Destination:  Lake Eyasi

Early breakfast, thereafter go for cultural tour around Lake Eyasi Villages. This tour will take to Lake Eyasi which is located in the Rift Valley South of Ngorongoro Highlands. Lake Eyasi is home to various rare species, rare birds and reptiles to mention. Lake Eyasi is beautifully fringed by the Great Rift walls to the west and the highland to the North offering a magnificent view. Hunter’s community of Hadzabe tribe live by hunting, honey and fruits, Lake Eyasi is their home. We also have another tribe known as Datoga who are expert to traditional healer. They are good in discovering herbs that can cure various diseases. You will also Visit Black Smith to experience ancient black smith skill. In the evening drive back to Marera Valley Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 9: Lake Manyara National Park – Zanzibar

Destination:  Lake Manyara National Park

Distance: 86 km

Non-game viewing hour/s: 1.5 hours

Today we drive to Lake Manyara National Park. We will arrive there around 9 – 10am then start game drives till lunch time when you will get short stop to take lunch at picnic site. Thereafter proceed with game drives for the rest hours of day. This is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks but still offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience. The lakeshore at Manyara teems with birdlife, and while you are looking for the birds, you might spot one of the elusive tree-climbing lions. There are a surprising number of other large mammals and the striking cliffs on the Rift escarpment form a dramatic backdrop. In the afternoon drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival at Zanzibar Airport we will pick you for transfer to Ocean Amaan Beach Bungalows for Overnight on BB.
